SCOPE: Shift Supervisor

TYPE: Casual/Full Time/ Part Time

Job Skills/Requirements:

Shift Supervisors are responsible for training their staff as well as ensuring employees are in professional attire consistent with Securability Protection’s policies. They should be accountable and reliable for their team. Shift Supervisors are also expected to regularly follow up with employees to ensure knowledge is retained. They are required to make certain their team is made aware and understand any issued memo or announcement.

Duties:           

Shift Supervisors are responsible for the following duties; checking emails, conferring with your management team for upcoming matters, assisting with scheduled meetings and addressing any issues during the shift.  In addition shift supervisors are responsible for completing daily paperwork.  Shift supervisor are responsible for documenting and completing Sign-in sheets and incident reports. While on shift, you will respond to all emergencies and take command of the situations.  Each Shift Supervisors is responsible for their site and employees.  Also Shift Supervisors are responsible for the supervision of onsite security guards, shift organization and task distribution. At the same time ensure the protection of tenant employees, property and information through enforcement of access control and property removal process. Respond and have accountability for resolution of customer concerns/complaints.

Education & Experience:

• High School education (post-secondary is preferred)
• 2 Years relevant experience, or combination of high affinity training
• Current CPR and First Aid Certificates preferred
• Security Guard License
• Management skills are necessary
• Ability to handle stressful situations with tact and diplomacy
• Collaborates with Others, Works Effectively with Others
